Foster Farms approached Geometry Global in the Summer of 2018 with a beautiful problem—How could they reinvigorate their iconic California brand for a new generation of shoppers, in ways that were relevant to how millennials live? And how could they keep it authentic and true to California? Answer: The Localists.

Chef-led dining events at top independent eateries throughout California, focusing on locally sourced ingredients, produced and hosted by Foster Farms.
Meet the Localists
Nobody knows California like the locals—so let’s get hyper-local with the state’s leading foodie influencers and niche brands. We’ll use mini-social stories that give shoppers insider tips and info on all things fresh and local in their areas and show them how they can build an entire meal around Foster Farms chicken using only locally sourced ingredients.
Local Boxes
Building off of our relationship with California’s foodies influencers, we’ll work with them to custom curate quarterly subscription boxes filled with items suck as local honeys, fruits, olive oils, and pastas. Boxes will include exclusive Foster Farms recipes paired to the boxes contents as well as coupons drive shopper back into stores.
Local Rewards
Our target shops local, so simple geo-fencing and existing retailer apps will be leveraged to target shoppers with exclusive coupons, recipes and content while they’re physically inside any local-to-California, foodie influencers retail locations.
The Audubon Society
Known for their comprehensive list of regional birds, we’re petitioning the Audubon Society to recognize the Foster Farms Chicken as the only chicken truly native to California.
